Someone asked me recently: ‘why do you think people date online? While I was trying to answer the question, she asked again, do you think people do it because they are looking for love or do they do it due to loneliness?
Generally, when people date, they are doing so to fill a void, it could be a void to be happy, a void to be loved or it could also mean that they want to be out of loneliness. Let me attempt to answer this question of why people prefer to go online for dating.
The rise of information communication technology in the late 20th century and early 21st century has given rise for a lot of possibilities. Right now, people date in various social networks such as facebook, twitter, whatsaap, Instagram and so on- they meet up there, chat for a long hours, share pictures and call each other.
