Some will be useful, others will simply be a waste of your time, and so will this advice. We came across this Facebook post and thought the wisdom in this piece needs to be known to soon-to-be couples.
When you are going to marry, almost everyone who hears about it will have a piece of advice for you. About 98 % of those pieces of advice will not stay with you a week after the wedding. The 2% you may remember will not automatically help your marriage. Much of the success depends on you and your partner. There is no manual marriage that guarantees a successful marriage if the couple are not prepared to commit, sacrifice and respect each other. Don’t marry someone who does not respect you. Be careful with partners who always think only about themselves and will not sacrifice for you. And remember there cannot be a good husband or wife in a man or woman who is not committed to your relationship. One of the worst mistakes you can ever make is to get your marriage wrong. It can ruin your career, your religion and derail your journey through life. Choose carefully!
