Instead of looking for a compatible donor for your child’s operation in the event of an accident or an illness, you can just use the baby teeth filled with life-saving stem cells.
According to experts, the stem cells in the baby teeth could be used for the treatment of type 1 diabetes, or to cure ailments that affect organs such as the heart, brain, and pancreas.
Doctors warn parents that if they plan on keeping their children’s baby teeth in order to make use of the stem cells, they should let a professional dentist pull the tooth out and store it in places such as the Tooth Bank and Bioden.
