Vehicular movement was brought to a screeching halt as one of the major bridges linking southern parts of Nigeria to the North collapses.
The bridge is located at Tatabu village along Mokwa - Jebba highway gave way after a heavy downpour making it impossible for traffic to move from both sides thus forcing motorists to find alternative routes.
On the scene to inspect the collapsed bridge was the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Unit Commander, Danladi Samari, together with his men to inspect the collapsed bridge.
