Experts has been revealed that a s*xually transmitted infection can be gotten without actually having s*x. These are some of the ways it can transmitted.

You don’t even have to take your clothes off to get a s*xually transmitted infection.

Technically it’s possible to catch an STI without having s*x, even if you’re a virgin.

If you want to avoid getting infected, it’s important to know what kind of everyday behaviour might put you at risk.
According to Health Express there’s seven weird ways you can contract a disease downstairs.
Here is the full list of bizarre things to watch out for – from razors to towels and tanning beds.

1. Using tanning beds

It sounds disgusting but the beauty salon can be a hotbed for herpes and human papilloma virus (HPV).

Because breakouts of these two STIs can appear anywhere on the body, they can easily be transferred onto the bed.

The warm, moist environment is a breeding ground for bacteria, but as long as you go to a decent salon they should wipe down the beds inbetween clients which will keep you safe.
2. Dry humping

Not only can you get pregnant from dry humping (even if you haven’t removed your underwear) you can also risk catching a number of STIs.

Because of the skin-to-skin contact, it’s possible to get diseases like HPV, herpes, syphilis and molloscum contagiosum.
3. Touching beards

This one is rare but pubic lice (crabs), scabies and herpes can hide in beards.

If the face fuzz has come into contact with an infected person’s genitals, it could harbour the parasitic infection and pass it on.
4. Sharing razors

There’s no need to share razors, especially when you’re increasing your risk of getting sex infection.

Because you tend to cut or nick your skin during shaving, you’re left vulnerable to infections left on the dirty razor by its rightful owner.
