There are a lot of diet options and workouts that can help you lose weight today but in some cases, the diet or the workout will not help you to burn fat.  There might be a problem with one hormone in your body called leptin that puts obstacles.
This hormone is produced mainly by adipocytes (fat cells) and it is involved in regulation of body fat. Leptin interacts with areas of the brain that control hunger and behavior and signals that the body has had enough to eat. The more weight you have, the more your body releases this hormone.
So if there is a problem with the function of leptin, it will not create a balance and it will not stimulate fatty tissue to burn excess fat. Leptin resistance is when your leptin is high, which means that your brain can’t see that you are putting up some extra weight.
