A suspected thief known for defrauding unsuspecting people in Banks has been nabbed in Sapele, Delta State.
According to Sapele Oghenek, the suspected thief operates by confronting people after they make withdrawals and tells them that he wants to ‘change money’.
After changing the cash for him, the person’s money will drastically reduce on getting home.
He used the trick to defraud a man of N30,000 at UBA, however, luck ran out of him when he used the same strategy to steal N23,000 from one Mr. Chuks.
Mr. Chuks – on discovering that his money had reduced – stormed GT Bank angrily where he caught this fraudster. The man has reportedly been doing this for a long time before meeting his waterloo.
