World’s fastest man, Jamaica’s Usain Bolt has been dethroned at the London World Athletics Championships.

His attempt to break records as the world’s fastest 100 and 200 meters runner turned into a disaster as America’s athlete Justin Gatlin won.

Gatlin who was in lane 8 drove hard in the last 40m to storm to victory.

Usain Bolt on the other hand gave himself a lot to do in the second half of the race which frustrated his effort.

This was supposed to be 30-year-old athlete’s last competitive race.

Usain Bolt who was warned against competing at London World Athletics Championships has now lost his title as he finally retires from the sport that brought him so much fame and wealth.
