When you are trying to find out about Bluetooth, you will get a lot of options for different sorts, but what you won’t find is a lot of information about the health risks. Somehow we always seem to overlook that aspect of Bluetooth, we are more concerned with cell phones themselves. To have a safer, better quality of life we must be aware of the technology that is such a big part of it, and so it begs the questions, is Bluetooth safe to use? What is Bluetooth anyway? In this article we will attempt to address these concerns.
When you use Bluetooth you are using a relatively new, completely wireless technology that uses radio signals to transmit over short range. Cell phones and Bluetooth use the same kind of microwave radiation to send and receive data and calls. The biggest difference between the two is proximity. A cell phone is getting its data from various cell towers that could be a hundred feet or a few hundred yards away, Bluetooth on the other hand is getting its data from inches or feet away.
You have probably been told that Bluetooth is absolutely safe, yet the data that would support this claim is almost non-existent. There have been very few studies done at this point to show exactly how safe or hazardous this technology may be. Since you are receiving these positive recommendations with no formal research experiments to back them up, you may be wise to take care of how often you utilize this technology until more is known.
Food and drugs must go through rigorous tests, experiments and trials before we can use them, yet cell phones and Bluetooth are tossed onto the market with no concern for the risks they may engender. Of course they are tested to see if they work, if they are going to randomly catch fire and things of that sort, but there were no studies to see what affects the EMF exposure may cause before releasing this technology to the masses. If Bluetooth causes the same type of exposure as a cell phone, but from closer range, we need to be educated on the possible effects this could have.
There have been a multitude of studies, especially in recent years that looks at the effects of long term exposure to microwave radiation. The results are quite startling, and feature a laundry list of links to diseases such as brain tumors, leukemia, hair loss and even multiple sclerosis. We use these devices on an ongoing almost permanent basis due to their hands-free nature, which sends a clear and strong field of radiation directly to our brains, eyes and ears. This has been thought to cause partial deafness, neck pain, and headaches as well as rashes.
What we need to bear in mind about this technology is that though the frequencies have a short wavelength, they also have a very high rate of oscillation that lets them penetrate live tissue all the way to the cellular level. Hopefully you will consider this information and decide for yourself how dangerous Bluetooth may or may not be, and how it could affect your health.
